TIPS for Joining

Birth Date:  First click on the Year, Second on the Month, then make sure you put the DAY in LAST.

If you are under 18, please just say you are, for some odd reason I cannot get this site to take anyone under the age of 18.  And all ages are welcome here.

Also if you choose not to put a birth date in, our program will not recognize you as a member.  You can still do anything you want to, but if someone else were looking for you in the membership list, you would not show up as the program cannot sort on 00 00 0000.  You can choose to put in any year to solve that problem.

After you enter the info and it says there is a problem, scroll up to see what box is circled in RED, that will be the problem box that needs to be changed or something has to be added.  If you still are having a problem, then please send Skeeter or  -Taz-  a message.  Thank you.

VIEWING Horses for sale or Other Classifieds

Click on "Classifieds" on the main menu.

Scroll down until you reach "Horses for Sale"

Click on Main Title [some ads are not in the right category]

Scroll down until you see "Results per Page"

Click on the 10 and click on 100

Then you can browse really quickly through the ads

Navigating our Site

To return to the Main/Front page, click on our Logo which is located at the top left hand side.  That will always return you to the Main/Front page from where ever you are.

Our Main Menu is where all of our features can be accessed from.  Just click on the tab and it will take you to that section.

Our "Special Features" a tab on our Main Menu with our "Featured Horse Sections" will also be accessable from the Front Page along with Horsin Around which is also located on the Front page.  You can get to any of those special features either way.

Making Friends:  Click on anyone's Profile Picture, when their page comes up, Click on "Befriend".  You can also send them a message or a greeting from that point.

Adding Comments:  Click on anyone's Profile Picture, scroll down to the end of the Left hand side.  There will be a box there that says "Add Comment" click on that and add your comment, then click on "Submit Comment"

Adding Graphic Commemts:  This is an example of one site that has graphic comments.  Go to www.spicecomments.com choose from their many comments.  Once you find one you like, then copy the code to that comment, go back to Rocking G Riding Club, go to the person's comment section, paste that code in the box, then click on "Submit Comment"  There are a ton of free graphic sites.

Checking for new friends, looking at a list of all of your friends, checking for greetings, or messages:  Go to your "My Account" page which is located at the top right hand side, above the main menu, near your Profile Picture.  You must be logged in to get to that feature.  Click on "My Account" and all of that information will come up.

Greetings:  You must be logged into your account to send a greeting that will let the person you are sending a greeting to know who sent it.  If you are not logged in and send a greeting, that person receives a message that a "visitor" sent them a greeting.  So they will not be able to return the favor.

Invite Friends:  This is a tab above our main menu and above our logo that allows you to send an invitation to your friends and makes it easy for them to join us.  We would appreciate it if you would send an invite to your friends.  Thank you so much.

Links:  Our regular links are located on the same menu as "Invite Friends", at the very top above our logo.  If you have a horse related web site, please let us know, we will add it in our links for you.

Adding your Main Profile Picture

Go to your "My Account" page, which after you are logged in is located at the top of the page on the right hand side, where you will see your avitar [female/male head].  You will see a link for "My Account", click on that. Click on the picture of the Man/Woman avitar where you want your picture to be. Upload the picture you want everyone else to know you by. After the picture uploads, scroll down and click on "Make Primary" button.  After that you can upload another 19 pictures.

Adding pictures in your Photo Album

Click on the tab "Photos" which is located on the main menu and you will see a link below that to upload photos. Click on that and you can upload 20 photos on that page.

HORSE TRANSPORT SERVICES

Click on "Horse Transport Services" on the main menu, then Click on "Add New Article" This is where you can post your Horse Transport Runs, or if you are wanting a quote, post your information there and someone will get back to you soon.

Adding Classifieds

Click on the tab "Classifieds" on the main menu, a menu  below that will pop up, click on "Add Classified". 

Choose the correct topic and sub topic,

Add Subject, add Tags then add your text, scroll down, then up load your picture in the "Browse" box,if you want to add another picture, click on "add" then scroll down and click on the "Send" button.  You may add as many classifieds as you want.  Our classifieds stay up for 365 days so you do not have to renew them but once a year.

You can of course edit them if they need something else, but be sure to add back the sub category, as it will go back to the default.

If you are adding something for sell, PLEASE delete it when it is no longer for sell.  We sure would appreciate it.

Adding an Event

Click on the tab "Events" from the main menu, click on "Add Event". 

Add Title of your Event

Add tags for your Event

Add Description of your Event

Add Country and City [where the event will be held]

Add Name, Address and/or directions to where your event will be held

Upload your Event Photo in the "Browse Box"

Add Start Date of your Event.  When you click on that box, a calendar will appear, there is a "?" on the upper left hand side of that box, click on the "?" for help on how to enter the date.

Click on "Post Event"

Be sure to delete your Event after it is over. Thanks

Start your own Rocking G Riding Club Trail Riding Club or any other horse related group.

Click on "Groups" from the main menu, click on "Create  Group".

Type in your Group Name, i.e., Rocking G Riding Club-Pineville, Mo.  be sure you add your area.

Choose Category - If there is not a category that will fit your group, stop there and let me know, I will add one for you.

Choose Options - these are already added, but you may change them if you so desire.

Add Country, add City  [yours]

Add Group Title

Add Group Description, what you want your group to be about.

Add code that you see in the box

Click on "Submit"

Adding Videos

Click on the tab "Videos" from the main menu and then you will see a link to upload Videos. You can Upload Videos on that page.

Adding Music

>Click on the tab "Music" from the main menu and then you will see a link to upload music. You can upload music on that page.
It is best to have music in MP3 format.

Adding Blogs

Click on the tab "Blogs" from the main menu and then you will see a link to Add Post You can start a blog on this page.

To get involved in our Forums

Click on the tab "Forums" from the main menu, look over the categories, click on one that you wish to add a comment on and talk away.
